My $0.02 is to buy the 940 field gun and use it for all the non tactical stuff. This way you can show it off to more people. I also have a CZ Redhead Premier 28" over under to do sporting clays. Leaning towards the Mossberg 940. EDIT: Maybe I'll get the 940 JM Pro 9+1 24". It'll go nicely in between my other two shotguns. I like to have different guns.
