Plant the seed using a single crop stick then put more crop sticks around it. Water it with a watering can and it will duplicate the seed as much as needed. Once you have enough inferium, craft a single lvl 6 inferium seed and do it again. Are you sure they are inferium seeds and not crafting seeds? I've seen a few people try planting crafting seeds instead of inferium seeds. Which pack are you playing and does it have agricraft? If so you'll have to use crop sticks. If not than, I'm honestly not sure why it's not working.
