The Golden Age of machine made marbles is dominated by marbles from such companies as M.F. Christensen & Son, Christensen Agate, Akro Agate and Peltier Glass. Jan 1, 2014 · The name was changed to the Peltier Glass Company in 1919. The company is located in Ottawa, Illinois, and no longer produces marbles. Peltier began making marbles around 1927.
