Dec 1, 2019 · timing was off piston and spark weren't matching husqvarna 128ld weed walker wouldn't start but had spark and a new carb and ok compression timing was way off Here's what I've done to try and resolve the situation. Replaced spark plug. replaced air filter. replaced fuel filter. drained gas and replaced with a premixed 50:1 fuel /oil. The previous gas was kind of green. I put some gas water remover in the old batch but that didn't seem to help. Hence the new gas.Ok.this will either be a carburetor adjustment issue or possibly the exhaust port is clogged up with carbon buildup and will not let the exhaust to exit.This will cause a trimmer to die ... just change the carburetor with new kit on my Husqvarna 128LD but I need help adjusting the 2 screws adjusted with the splined tool and the philips head ...Final Words.
