Issues after installing VCM II. We are having issues after installing VCM Tuner II. Some backstory - The 2011 Odyssey touring van has ran fine up to the 190,000 mile mark. We never even knew about the VCM issues. We did have the emission light turn on an over and over again and replaced both catalytic converters. One day, it misfired.

ECT1 is the temp reading of coolant exiting the heads (entering the hot tank of the radiator). Those VCM deactivation devices send a +/-165F ECT1 signal to “trick” ECU instead of the actual 188F-194F ECT1. That’s the way I understand it. I observe ECT2 being 40-50 degrees below ECT1 when moving and/or efans on.

We have the VM Tuner II on all our VCM equipped Hondas, not just the PP.
