So the problem I’m having is intermittent starting. It always starts if it cranks. Battery is good. Starter is new. I believe the signal is not getting to the starter. It’s not random and it’s not mechanical within the ignition switch. It always starts first drive of the day or if it’s been sitting for longer than 20 minutes after driving.

Fairly often, I push the start button or remote start and the D turns over but doesn't actually start for several seconds. I've noticed this quite a few times since new and can't seem to find a similar reason. It doesn't really matter if it's hot or cold, the tank is full or a quarter, parked flat or on an incline, etc.
